Blessed to Bless
Numbers 6:22-26
22 The Lord said to Moses, 23 “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: 24 ‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
1. God Blesses Providentially (vs. 24)
24 “The Lord bless you and keep you;
I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one. John 17:11
2. God Blesses with His Presence (vs. 25)
25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them. “Matthew 18:20
3. God Blesses by Pardoning (vs. 26)
26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want 2 He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
3He restores my soul. He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. 5You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. 6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
